Nagi and Erika end up alone at the festival. Erika draws the attention of her fans, so Nagi buys a mask of her to prevent them from recognizing her. Nagi meets Sachi with her friends and hears them teasing Sachi about her brother complex. Suddenly, Erika is surrounded by the fans who tried to break into her house, one of whom has trained her muscles for her rematch with Nagi.
Not wanting to cause a scene, Nagi and Erika run away. Erika decides that this summer has been her favorite, even compared to the summers she spent with her parents on vacation abroad. They watch the fireworks together, and both Sachi and Hiro are disappointed that they couldn’t see them with Nagi. Hiro catches up with them and finally asks what their relationship is, as they both claim that Sachi is his sister.
Nagi feels guilty, so they finally tell Hiro that they were switched at birth and are now engaged. Hiro accepts the explanation and Erika hopes that they are best friends now. Since she has to buy a present for Sachi, Erika stays at the festival while Nagi walks Hiro home. Hiro makes Nagi promise that she will never keep another secret and he agrees, though Sachi sees them from afar. Nagi returns home happier than ever as Sachi asks Erika about Hiro.

The only place where you can watch A Couple of Cuckoos on a regular basis is Crunchyroll. Crunchyroll offers the series regularly through simulcast, but you’ll have to watch it in Japanese, with English subtitles. Other streaming services do offer A Couple of Cuckoos as well, but the episodes are not updated regularly so you won’t be able to watch the latest ones.
