Erika and Sachi spend the whole day following Hiro, but find nothing suspicious about him. Sachi announces that she wants to attend the same high school as Nagi and begins to study hard. Nagi shares with Erika how he thinks Sachi is acting weird and feeling less and less like a sister. Sachi attends an open house at school with Hiro as her guide.
Sachi asks Hiro what she thinks of Nagi. Hiro reiterates his claim that she is engaged but admits that she is intrigued by Nagi. Nagi rushes over to hear what they are saying, but realizes that Sachi and Hiro have somehow become friends. At home, Sachi continued to study, but Nagi remains worried as his school is a private academy with annual fees and his parents are already struggling to pay for him.
However, her parents decide whether or not to accept Sachi as selling her restaurant to pay the fees. Sachi refuses to let this happen and a battle of wills erupts between Sachi and Namie, with Nagi and Yohei terrified and powerless to stop them until Erika steps in to calm everyone down. When they get home, Sachi calls Erika sister for the first time, leaving Nagi disappointed that she didn’t call him brother.

The only place where you can watch A Couple of Cuckoos on a regular basis is Crunchyroll. Crunchyroll offers the series regularly through simulcast, but you’ll have to watch it in Japanese, with English subtitles. Other streaming services do offer A Couple of Cuckoos as well, but the episodes are not updated regularly so you won’t be able to watch the latest ones.
