Nagi returns home frustrated that he hasn’t found out anything about Sosuke and finds Erika and Sachi preparing for summer vacation. Erika is not surprised that she failed and surprisingly agrees that Nagi could technically marry Sachi, but then falls silent when Nagi points out that according to Souichiro’s logic, Erika could marry Sosuke.
Out of the blue, Hiro asks Nagi out on a second date to go for a bike ride. Before leaving, she asks him a riddle; What is near and far at the same time? On her walk, Nagi thinks about Souichiro’s confusing and irritating behavior. He and Hiro arrive at a beach where Hiro reveals that the answer to the riddle is Family.
Nagi admits that he is frustrated by Souichiro, while Hiro admits that he wants to become an adult as quickly as possible, but doesn’t explain why. Sachi has another dinner with Souichiro, who asks her directly if she is willing to marry Nagi. Returning home, Sachi begins to act aloof, worrying Nagi with her behavior. Sachi gets angrier every time Nagi acts like an older brother to her and, in her frustration, asks if she proposes to him if he would marry her. When he says that he wouldn’t because she’s her sister, she pretends to have been joking.

Crunchyroll offers the series regularly through simulcast, but you’ll have to watch it in Japanese, with English subtitles. Other streaming services do offer A Couple of Cuckoos as well, but the episodes are not updated regularly so you won’t be able to watch the latest ones.
