After ‘Joker: Folie à Deux,’ Lady Gaga Is Reportedly Heading to the MCU!

Lady Gaga is one of the biggest stars in the history of the music industry. Starting off as a globally popular pop star, the singer changed her style and evolved over the years, but like her musical production, her career also evolved and she is one of a large number of musicians who made a transition to the big screen.

It started with A Star is Born, then continued with House of Gucci, and most recently, the singer-turned-actress appeared as the female lead in Joker: Folie à Deux, a role that was very much controversial because of how it was executed, but also because the movie flopped and disappointed everyone.

Now, after her seemingly short tenure at DC, Lady Gaga is seemingly looking to make a transition to Marvel if the rumors we have are true. In this report, we are going to discuss that rumor and reveal all the information we have about it.

As you know, Lady Gaga’s acting career started off strong with A Star is Born, but since then, while she has appeared in major projects, the reception of her roles wasn’t all that great, to be honest.

Joker: Folie à Deux is the most recent example, as a large number of fans actually blamed Gaga for the movie flopping, although we have to be honest and say that the movie had much bigger problems than Gaga.

Still, if the most recent rumors are true, while Gaga might be done with DC, it seems she is not done with comic book movies, as we have word that Marvel is looking to recruit the superstar. The source of the rumor is MyTimeToShineHello, a very popular rumor mill (the tweet can be seen only by subscribers, so don’t worry if you cannot open it).

The rumor says that Kevin Feige is looking to recruit Gaga for the role of Dazzler, a relatively unknown, but popular Mutant from the comics who has a strong connection to music, which is why Gaga would be a good pick for the role.

The issue here is that the X-Men movies are still a long way to go so we don’t know how this is going to play out.

Also, Dazzler is a character that many fans of Taylor Swift already “assigned” to the popular singer, believing that Swift is the ideal candidate for the role. And while all of this is in the rumor realm, it is definitely intriguing to see this “duel”.
