‘Alien: Earth’ Confirms Release Window, New Teaser and Details Revealed

Speaking of cult classic horror franchises, there is no doubt that Alien is one of the best ones in that aspect. The idea came from a story written by the late writer Dan O’Bannon and his colleague Ronald Shusett and was later depicted on the screen by Ridley Scott, whose sci-fi horror is now considered a proper classic.

Since then, the franchise has been expanding in a proper way, producing sequels, prequels, and other content, including an upcoming television series – Alien: Earth. We have already written about this upcoming project and we can now confirm that we have more information for you about the upcoming series.

As you can guess from the title, the Xenomorph is coming to Earth in a distant future and the series will explore this storyline. Recently, as Deadline reports, a new teaser, as well as new information about the series have been released, and we are happy to share them with you.

Before we reveal anything further, we are happy to confirm that a new teaser trailer for the series has been released and we are bringing it here to you:

The new batch of information we have confirms a Summer 2025 release date, and while we still don’t know the exact date, this narrows it all down to a very short time span, so we are happy to know that the premiere is not far.

The series, as you know, is produced by FX on Hulu, so you also know where it is going to be shown. Sydney Chandler will star as Wendy, a woman who has the mind of a child, but the body of an adult woman.

She will be joined by Alex Lawther as CJ, a soldier, Samuel Blenkin as Boy Kavalier, a CEO, Essie Davis as Dame Silvia, Adarsh Gourav as Slightly, Kit Young as Tootles, and Timothy Olyphant as Kirsh. Other, as of yet unspecified roles, include David Rysdahl, Babou Ceesay, Jonathan Ajayi, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Diêm Camille, and Adrian Edmondson.

As for the new plot details, Deadline reveals the following:

Alien: Earth is set in the year 2120. When a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth, a young woman and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat in the sci-fi horror series Alien: Earth.

As members of the crash recovery crew search for survivors among the wreckage, they encounter mysterious predatory life forms more terrifying than they could have ever imagined. With this new threat unlocked, the search crew must fight for survival and what they choose to do with this discovery could change planet Earth as they know it.
