Amazon's 'Fallout' Releases First Clip Ahead of April 11 Release!

As gamers will know, Fallout is one of the most popular and best-known video game franchises, whose first installment was released back in 1997 for the computer, but it wasn’t until Fallout 3 was released on platforms that the series exploded. This post-apocalyptic role-playing game turned out to be an ideal material for a series adaptation, which is why Amazon Prime picked up the series.

The series itself was co-created by Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner and will be developed by Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan, who have previously worked on HBO’s hit series Westworld, which also has a similar setting. The series is set to be released on April 11, 2024, on Amazon Prime, and ahead of its release, the streaming service has released the first official clip from the series, showing off some interesting scenes, characters, and interactions. You can check out the clip here:

The Fallout series will star Ella Purnell (Never Let Me Go, Yellowjackets) as Lucy, a young Vault Dweller and the primary protagonist of the series. She is joined by Aaron Moten as Maximus, a member of the Brotherhood of Steel, and famous actor Walter Goggins as The Ghoul, a.k.a., Cooper Howard, a mutated gunslinger and bounty hunter who has been alive since before the bombs fell.

Aside from these names, the series will also see the following actors (some roles are, as of yet, unspecified):

  • Kyle MacLachlan as Hank, Lucy’s father, and a Vault Overseer
  • Xelia Mendes-Jones
  • Mike Doyle as Mr. Spencer
  • Moisés Arias as Norm, Lucy’s brother
  • Johnny Pemberton as Thaddeus
  • Cherien Dabis as Birdie
  • Dale Dickey as Ma June
  • Matty Cardarople as Huey
  • Sarita Choudhury
  • Michael Emerson as Wilzig, an enigmatic wanderer who aids Lucy
  • Leslie Uggams
  • Chris Parnell
  • Frances Turner
  • Dave Register as Chet
  • Zach Cherry
  • Rodrigo Luzzi as Reg
  • Annabel O’Hagan as Steph
  • Matt Berry as Mr. Handy

Fallout is set to be released on April 11, 2024, and as things stand now, all the episodes of the first season should be batch-released on that day. Based on the clip, we are in for a real treat!
