‘Basketball Wives’ Royce Reed Acusses NBA Star Dwight Howard of Abuse

Royce Reed has recently spoken out on social media, accusing her ex-partner Dwight Howard of sexual and physical abuse. The two share a son, Braylon Joshua Howard, and their relationship has been rocky for years.

Reed took to Instagram to express frustration, saying Howard has continued to contact her despite her requests for him to stop. She shared that Howard’s comments about her career were the last straw.

Reed also claimed Howard tried to sabotage her career, saying he was partly responsible for her losing jobs in the past. She mentioned that Howard’s attempt to pressure her into silence with legal fees only made things worse. “You sue me, you get dust!” she quoted, referring to her financial struggles.

She went on to state that she was done carrying the emotional weight into 2025, warning Howard that she would expose more evidence, including texts and emails, as she said in the above-linked Instagram video.

Reed hinted at knowing more than Howard thought and mentioned the initials ‘R.E.’ to show she was serious. She also created a new account named ‘ihadababybysuperman‘ to post more videos and details about their relationship.

Reed shared that at one point, she considered having an abortion to protect her career but decided against it when she heard her baby’s heartbeat.

She revealed that when her relationship with Howard ended, he offered her money to deny their child’s connection to him. Reed refused and said it made her life much harder.

Finally, Reed described a toxic and abusive environment in their relationship. She claimed Howard pressured her into sexual acts she wasn’t comfortable with, and over time, the situation became verbally, physically, and mentally abusive. She remembered being told she was ‘stupid‘ and that no one would ever want her.
