Skydance’s upcoming VR game, Behemoth, is set to release on December 5, 2024, for Steam and PSVR2. The game unfolds in The Forsaken Lands, where players assume the role of The Hunter on a mission to save their village.

This journey involves battling various enemies and confronting massive creatures known as Behemoths. The developers, known for The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners, aim to deliver a gory and immersive experience that could set a new standard for VR action-adventure games.

The game promises a vast, immersive world that may elevate VR gaming standards. However, the success of such ambitious VR titles can vary, as seen with games like Asgard’s Wrath 2 and Metro Awakening. Despite these challenges, Skydance is confident that Behemoth will make a significant impact in the VR gaming scene.

Players can expect to download Behemoth from 4 pm GMT / 11 am EST / 8 am PST on the release day. The game aims to provide a grand adventure, potentially marking the beginning of a successful series for Skydance.
