Twisted Comics, under the leadership of Neil Gibson, has sealed a deal with Banijay Rights to bring “Black Mirror” enthusiasts a fresh and thrilling prospect: a comic book series slated for a 2025 release, as reported by Bleeding Cool.

This exciting new project is set to adapt some of the most memorable storylines from the critically acclaimed television series into the comic book format.

Neil Gibson, who helms Twisted Comics, shared his excitement about the project, stating it’s a fulfillment of a long-held ambition to adapt “Black Mirror” into a comic series. He believes that this expansion into comics will captivate the show’s audience in entirely new ways.

His colleague, Kenny Diack, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the partnership with Banijay Rights as a strategic move to further broaden their creative horizons and build on their existing portfolio, which includes works like “Twisted Dark” and adaptations of Stan Lee’s “Lucky Man.”

David Christopher from Banijay Rights elaborated on the synergy between the “Black Mirror” themes and the innovative comic series they are developing. He advised fans to stay alert for updates and to register early to follow the progress leading up to the release.

“Black Mirror,” created by Charlie Brooker, originally aired on Channel 4 and later moved to Netflix, quickly becoming renowned for its chilling narratives centered around the dark sides of technology and society. The series has spanned six seasons with a total of 27 episodes and includes an interactive film, “Bandersnatch.”

For those new to “Black Mirror,” the series is known for its speculative take on technology’s impact on society, featuring a blend of sci-fi and horror elements. Charlie Brooker, not just the show’s creator but also a comic book creator in his own right, has written most of the episodes alongside executive producer Annabel Jones.

Stay tuned for more updates and make sure you’re registered to catch all the pre-release material online.
