‘BLUELOCK THE MOVIE -EPISODE NAGI-‘ Releases New Trailer!

We already know that the BLUELOCK THE MOVIE -EPISODE NAGI– will be released very soon, on April 19, 2024, in Japan and that the movie will be getting an international release, thanks to Crunchyroll, starting from June 28, 2024. Now, with the premiere date so close, we, naturally, know a lot about the movie, and we have to say that we actually did expect the release of a final trailer around this time, and we can confirm that the trailer is finally out and that we are going to bring it to you as you might have expected.

BLUELOCK THE MOVIE -EPISODE NAGI- will continue the anime adaptation of one of the most popular sports manga titles in recent years. Focusing on football (soccer), BLUELOCK became a massive hit after its first season, and while we’re still waiting for a confirmation of a second season, the series will continue.

As we have said, a final trailer was released, seven days before the premiere of the movie, and we are happy to bring it here for you so you can enjoy it and see what you can expect from the movie:

As far as the cast and crew are concerned, we confirm that Shunsuke Ishikawa (Blue Lock co-director) will be directing the film, with Taku Kishimoto (Blue Lock series composer) as screenwriter and scriptwriter, Munemuki Kaneshiro as story supervisor, Yuu Shindou (Fruits Basket 2019) and Sorato Shimizu (Gegege no Kitaro 2018) as character designers, while Jun Murayama (Blue Lock) returns as the music composer. Eight Bit is in charge of the animation production.  

As for the voice talents involved, the movie is going to feature the following voice actors and actresses:

• Yuuma Uchida as Reo 
• Kazuyuki Okitsu as Zantetsu Tsurugi
• Kazuki Ura as Yoichi Isagi
• Tasuku Kaito as Meguru Bachira

• Soma Saito as Hyoma Chigiri
• Subaru Kimura as Ryo Nameoka

The official synopsis of the upcoming movie reveals the following:

“That’s a hassle.” That was second-year high schooler Nagi Seishiro’s favorite phrase as he lived his dull life. Until Mikage Reo, a classmate who dreamed of winning the World Cup, discovered Nagi’s hidden skill, inspiring him to play soccer and share his outstanding talent. One day, he receives an invitation to the mysterious BLUE LOCK Project. What awaits him there is an encounter with the finest strikers assembled from across the country. Nagi’s dream of becoming the best, alongside Reo, will take this prodigy to a world he’s never known. A prodigy can only be shaped when someone discovers him….now, striker Nagi Seishiro’s incredible talent and persona will set the soccer world ablaze.
