From what we know at this moment, Episode 256 of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is going to be released on July 3, 2022. The episode’s title is going to be “The Finest Recipe” (Japanese: 極上のレシピ, Gokujō no Reshipi). The previous episode aired on June 26, 2022. Like, every other episode so far, Episode 256 is going to air on July 3, 2022 according to the following timelines:

Boruto Episode 256 plot
The plot of Boruto Episode 256 is not known at this moment. This is why we are going to bring you a short recap of Episode 254 (since Episode 255 has not yet aired at the time of writing this article); this is so you know what happened before:
Ikada seems to consider Boruto’s offer of self-sacrifice, but only if Sarada and Mitsuki stand by and watch, which they decline. Boruto convinces them to back down and the Funato start beating him to death. Ikada gives Kobuna the opportunity to deliver the killing blow, but when Boruto sees how the child is shaken, he decides to jump into the stormy sea himself.
Mitsuki and Sarada break down while Ikada tries to taunt them to avenge Boruto. Seeing his determination not to retaliate, Ikada steps in to save Boruto. As Team Sarada cheers, Ikada orders the fleet to retreat. Araumi still tries to fire the chakra cannon at the Shinonome, but Kawaki charges here and slits his throat. Boruto and Ikada talk like friends again, while Buntan, Metal, and Kyoho unleash their revenge.

The only place where you can watch Boruto: Naruto Next Generations on a regular basis is Crunchyroll. Crunchyroll offers the series regularly through simulcast, but you’ll have to watch it in Japanese, with English subtitles. Other streaming services do offer Boruto as well, but the episodes are not updated regularly so you won’t be able to watch the latest ones. Also, do remember that Crunchyroll does not offer Boruto episodes in every region of the world.
