Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 231 and the Mystery of the Land of Calm Seas
The mystery of the Land of Calm Seas has finally been unveiled in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations episode 231. In the previous episode 230 that aired on December 26th, 2021, the fandom could learn more about the mystery of the Land of Calm Seas as Konohamaru meets Naruto and Shikamaru to discuss the fact that there has been a pattern of boys from the Land of Calm Seas being targeted by someone.
If you still haven’t got a chance to watch episode 230 that aired last Sunday, we advise you not to read any further to avoid spoilers. The person targeting the Land of Calm Seas boys might be a Shinobi that Boruto deems as suspicious and that Kawaki went after. Team 7 with Boruto has been sent to assist team 10 to the same forest where the killings took place. There is another Shinobi, seemingly cold and emotionless, carrying out orders from an unnamed boss.
Kawaki wants to beat the Shinobi, which might happen in the next episode 231, titled Rusted Sword.

The next episode that should reveal more about the mystery of the Land of Calm Seas will air on January 9th, 2022. This will be the first episode scheduled for 2022, and the fans can watch it on Funimation and Crunchyroll. The episode will be available for free on both platforms a week later on January 16th, 2022.
Unlike previous episodes, episode 231 titled Rusted Sword will be released two weeks after episode 230 instead of following a pattern of weekly releases on Sundays.
