Boruto: Naruto Next Generations How Things Are Changing for the Hidden Leaf Village

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is continuing with weekly episodes in 2022 as well, already having episodes listed for January 2022. There has been a myriad of dramatic changes and intense twists in a couple of last episodes with Sasuke and Naruto battling Isshiki Otsusuki. The battle was so epic that it supposedly caused some streaming platforms to crash with a great number of fans following the battle.

The fandom was thrilled by the battle, once again seeing their favorite Naruto characters in action, causing the battle with Isshiki to trend on Twitter for days. The fandom could see a great number of characters defending the village, and not everyone survived. Our favorite heroes also lost some of their signature abilities, making the battle even more dramatic.

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Spoiler Alert

Spoilers ahead if you didn’t watch the last episode of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. The fans had to say goodbye to Kurama, the nine-tail fox. Still, it appears that there is enough strength left in Naruto even without Kurama. Naruto wasn’t the only character to lose his signature ability.

Sasuke also must deal with losing his Rinegan, which substantially weakened these all-time favorite Naruto characters. While the village may be vulnerable after the battle, Boruto and the rest of the characters from the new generation are getting stronger day by day, which leaves some hope for the Hidden Leaf Village.

Originally, Boruto doesn’t want to become a Hokage to protect the village as his father did in Naruto Shippuden. Instead, he would like to assist Hokage in protecting the village, much like Sasuke. Boruto has always been different from his father, however, with the most recent turn of events, things might change for Boruto as he is growing stronger.
