Yofukashi no Uta, also known as Call of the Night, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kotoyama. It has been serialized in Shōgakukan’s Shūkan Shōnen Sunday magazine since August 28, 2019. An anime adaptation of the series produced by the Liden Films studio premiered on July 7, 2022 on Fuji TV’s noitaminA programming block. Nazuna ends up at a bathhouse, where she instructs the clerk to let her know if her wrist receiver starts ringing. She runs out of the bathroom when she does, wearing nothing but a long jacket she meets Yamori outside. After he himself has taken a bath, Yamori begins to experience new feelings due to Nazuna’s new appearance, for which she teases him.
After she drinks his blood, they decide to rest, but unknown to Yamori, they enter a love hotel. There, Nazuna explains that she can get an idea of what a person is thinking from the taste of her blood, saying that she teases Yamori’s emotions for more flavor. After leaving, Yamori becomes jealous when Nazuna sees a person he has drunk blood from before, but she tells him that he is the only one she currently drinks from.
They then head to her apartment, where Nazuna reveals that she runs a massage parlor at home. She massages Yamori for free, but focuses on the more relaxing pressure points on his body, before attempting to drink his blood. However, they are interrupted by the arrival of a customer. Yamori is forced to greet her, and after finding Nazuna playing in her room, she promises to give him a kiss as a reward for serving her in her place.

The only place where you can watch Call of the Night on a regular basis is HIDIVE. HIDIVE offers the series regularly through simulcast, but you’ll have to watch it in Japanese, with English subtitles. Other streaming services do offer Call of the Night as well, but the episodes are not updated regularly so you won’t be able to watch the latest ones. Also, do remember that HIDIVE does not offer Call of the Night episodes in every region of the world.
