Casarotto Ramsay & Associates Drops Neil Gaiman from Client List Due to Misconduct Allegations

Neil Gaiman is no longer listed as a client of Casarotto Ramsay & Associates, the agency that once represented him for film, TV, and theater. His name recently disappeared from their website, suggesting a quiet removal. The agency has not responded to questions about whether they still represent him.

This comes after months of accusations against the Good Omens writer. Gaiman has been accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women, including claims of nonconsensual BDSM.

The allegations were first reported in July on the Tortoise podcast Master: The Allegations Against Neil Gaiman, with more women coming forward in a follow-up episode and in New York magazine earlier this month.

Gaiman denies the claims, stating, ‘I have never engaged in non-consensual sexual activity with anyone.’ He also said some stories were ‘distorted’ and that he would not admit to things he hadn’t done. However, the controversy has led to multiple professional setbacks.

Dark Horse Comics has cut ties with him and canceled their planned Anansi Boys adaptation. A UK stage production of Coraline has been scrapped. The third season of Amazon Prime Video’s Good Omens has been reduced to a single 90-minute episode, and Disney has put its Graveyard Book project on hold.

Gaiman’s long-time literary agent, Merrilee Heifetz of Writers House, has also been contacted for comment, as has CAA, another agency that previously represented him. So far, there has been no official response.
