Daredevil: Born Again is one of the most anticipated series of 2025, as Marvel fans are waiting to see Charlie Cox’s superhero back on the screen, and this time in a proper way, i.e., in a way that is not a cameo like in the MCU movies. The series is causing a lot of hype, and we – too – are excited for the premiere.

In the meantime, we have been reporting on numerous rumors, as well as official cast and crew moments from the show, and in this report, we are going to talk about an interview that Charlie Cox gave to Collider, in which he revealed an interesting thing about the show.

Namely, we know that the series will bring another round of conflict between Daredevil and Kingpin, but as Cox revealed, it seems that the two of them won’t be sharing that much screentime, which is certainly interesting, knowing that the two of them are actually archenemies.

As stated, Daredevil: Born Again will continue the ongoing fight between Daredevil and Kingpin, the show’s most important characters. And while the series will explore other storylines and characters, the relationship between Kingpin and Daredevil is going to be in the focus, as expected.

Some earlier remarks by the cast and crew members teased a different dynamic between the two of them, as well as Daredevil being pushed to his limits in the upcoming series, which is certainly exciting.

But, based on the Collider interview, Daredevil will either be pushed to his limits by someone other than Kingpin, or Kingpin will do it in a more slick and vile manner, which would certainly be interesting. Why do we think that?

Well, based on what Charlie Cox said, Kingpin and Daredevil won’t share that much screen time in the series, which is very interesting:

“With these characters, you have to always feel like, were they to cross paths, they would fight to the death… it would be hugely explosive. So, you have to, in the writing of a show, in the construction of it, you have to limit the amount of time they can be together or you have to give them real reason for them not to be together.”

Based on this, we cannot but wonder what the relationship between the two characters is going to look like in the upcoming series, which premieres next year, and it seems that it will be profoundly different, as Cox himself confirmed that Kingpin and Daredevil will make a “loose truce” in Born Again, so it will be interesting to find out why and how that will influence their relationship going forward!
