Chris Pine is reportedly negotiating for a role in the movie ‘Dungeons & Dragons.’ As one of the “Hollywood gods”, Pine has proven to be a valuable player on screen over the years.

After accumulating many roles early in his career, Pine became a household name when he was cast as James T. Kirk in J.J. Abrams’ reboot of the Star Trek franchise.

He has since continued to play a vital role in the 2017 ‘Wonder Woman’, taking on the role of her love interest, Steve Trevor. He will reprise that role in ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ later this month.

The latest movie, ‘Dungeons & Dragons’, took a long time to launch, and development began back in 2015. Initially, Ansel Elgort was cast, but those plans eventually fell apart.

In the years that followed, the ‘Dungeons & Dragons’ hopped between director and screenwriter before opting for Game Night duo John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein last year. Now, this fantasy adventure film is getting closer to production.

According to THR, Pine is negotiating to star in ‘Dungeons & Dragons’. Paramount and eOne Entertainment are teaming up for the film, which is currently scheduled for release on May 27, 2022.

The plot details are still kept secret, as are the little things about Pine’s potential character. The script itself is a new draft written by Daley and Goldstein, processing a previous version written by Michel Gilio.
