Classroom of the Elite is a Japanese light novel series, written by Shougo Kinugasa and illustrated by Shunsaku Tomos. The series has both manga and anime adaptation and on February 21, it was announced that the anime is getting a 2nd season, set to debut this summer.
Now, Studio Lerche has shared yet another exciting new info with their fans, revealing that they are already working on the season 3.The season is expected to launch in 2023 and it is expected to cover the entirety of the Year 1 arc, which was serialized from May 2015 until September 2019 and compiled into 14 volumes.
When Classroom of the Elite season 1 debuted in 2017, many anime lovers got hooked on it and were calling for the renewal the moment it ended, so they were pretty thrilled when season 2 was announced. No one expected that the season 3 would be so quickly announced too, but fans are more than happy and are already working up on their theories on what this season could bring.
Studio Lerche is returning to animate both Season 2 and Season 3 of the anime and they have already released a trailer for the new project. You can watch the trailer and read the official synopsis below:
