‘Conquest 2099’ #4 Will Pit Spider-Man and Logan Against Dracula and Debut a Surprising New Character!
Everyone likes a good crossover, right? While the crossover stories are rarely canon, it still gives the authors a lot of space to explore alternative stories and takes on well-known universes, whether we’re dealing with a proper crossover or an in-universe crossover. In the case of this report, it’s a bit of both, actually.
Marvel’s Conquest 2099 series is a very interesting futuristic take on the Marvel universe, and it is a proper crossover if we have ever seen one. The first issue was released on October 9, 2024, and has intrigued a lot of fans with its bold take on these characters.
Now, in preparation for the release of Conquest 2099 #4, we are bringing you a preview that is going to reveal a lot of exciting details about the upcoming issues, as well as some interesting surprises we are certain you will enjoy! Keep reading to find out more!
Taking us into the distant 2099, the series sees the heroes of that Earth fight none other than Lord Dracula, who also managed to survive that much. While this is not surprising for an undead character, the fact that he was not killed in the meantime says a lot. And now, Lord Dracula has gathered an army and is ready to fight… well, just about everyone! This is the synopsis for the upcoming issue:
SPIDER-MAN & LOGAN VS DRACULA! SPIDER-MAN and LOGAN lead the heroes against DRACULA’S army! SPIDERCIDE orders the slaughter of all vampires! Featuring the first appearance of GHOST-SPIDER 2099!
It doesn’t tell us much, but there are two important things to take from this short synopsis. One, we know that the major clash between Dracula and the heroes is ready to start.
Led by the timeline’s Spider-Man and Logan (who is actually Nova), the heroes are ready to face off against the infernal army of the vampire overlord, who is set on beating them just as much as they are set on stopping his evil plans. This definitely promises to be an interesting clash, as you can see from the cover:
There are some interesting characters set to appear here, but the upcoming issue also promises to introduce a new character to the story, as Ghost Spider 2099 is going to make his debut in the upcoming fourth issue, which is certainly going to be an exciting thing for all fans!
