Crunchyroll Announces 6th Anime Awards

Global anime brand Crunchyroll today announces the return of the Anime Awards, the international celebration of the best and brightest in animation. With more than 15 million votes cast last year from fans in more than 200 countries and territories, the Anime Awards are the premier honor for fan-favorite and best-in-class anime series, characters, and creators across streaming. 

Nominees will be announced and voting will begin for the Sixth Annual Anime Awards starting Tuesday, January 18 at 9 AM PST. Voting will close Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 5 PM PST. Winners will be revealed Wednesday, February 9. 

Categories for this year include fan favorites like Best Protagonist and Best Fight Scene, along with returning classics like Anime of the Year. The full list of categories can be found on the Anime Awards website. Fans can review categories now as they prepare to vote daily January 18 – January 25!
