Crunchyroll Brings Three Anime Hit Films to North American Cinemas!
Crunchyroll is, as everyone knows, the biggest anime provider in the world. Although the competition is increasing, definitely, Crunchyroll is still the main and largest source of anime series and movies in the world. We know that anime series are Crunchyroll’s primary product, but the streaming service has also been in charge of distributing anime movies in the West, either via its service or in cinemas, or both! In this case, we are going to talk about movies, as we have some great news for Western fans of three series, Crunchyroll is bringing three hit films of this year to Western cinemas!
The movies in question are HAIKYU!! The Dumpster Battle, which is set to be released on May 31, 2024; BLUE LOCK THE MOVIE -EPISODE NAGI-, which is set to be released on June 28, 2024; and OVERLORD: The Sacred Kingdom, whose release date has not been set at this moment, which makes sense, seeing how the Japanese release date has not been set either.

Synopsis:

But, one day this comes to an end when the Demon Emperor Jaldabaoth arrives with an army of villainous demi-humans. Fearing an invasion of their own lands, the neighboring territory of the Slane Theocracy is forced to beg their enemies at the Sorcerer Kingdom for help. Heeding the call, Momonga, now known as the Sorcerer King Ains Ooal Gown, rallies the Sorcerer Kingdom and its undead army to join the fight alongside the Sacred Kingdom and the Slane Theocracy in hopes of defeating the Demon Emperor.
