Liefeld feels that blocking Cable from appearing in the Deadpool & Wolverine film was a ‘boner move,’ implying it was a terrible call. He didn’t hold back in his critique, making it clear that, in his view, Cable should have had a place in the story.

But, as it stands, the studio had other plans for the movie, leaving Cable out in the end. This decision didn’t sit well with Liefeld, who clearly feels that Cable’s absence was a loss for the film.
