In the decades that followed its establishment, DC Comics, which was founded in 1934, rose to prominence as one of the two major mainstream American comic book publishers.

DC Comics is a well-known worldwide brand and one of the most well-known synonyms for comic books, particularly superhero comic books, having established itself as a significant publisher and change pioneer, particularly in the 1980s.

The company has provided us with a number of fascinating characters over the course of its lengthy history; some of these have made their way into popular culture, while others are less well-known but are nonetheless a part of the canon, and some have even turned into cult classics.

The character we are going to talk about in this report is a bit of both, as Deathstroke is one of the most beloved villains in DC’s stories. The character started off as a Batman villain but has since moved on to become the arch-enemy of the Teen Titans, a group closely related to Batman. Deathstroke died recently, but now he’s back, and he seems to be more dangerous than ever!

The comic book we are talking about is Titans #17 – written by John Layman, with art by Pete Woods – but before we continue, allow us to bring you a small introduction first. Namely, in DC’s recent major event, “Dark Crisis,” Deathstroke died.

While we know that death in comic books is rarely permanent, a lot of fans began to worry as Slade Wilson was absent for a longer time than anyone had wanted or anticipated. And while DC was coy about his return, we finally got to see it.

The story actually starts with the Clock King, who is now more powerful than before and he almost defeats the Teen Titans by manipulating their memories. He failed in the end, and after his defeat, he went to a bar to sulk. There, he was approached by Deathstroke, whose return was thus confirmed in a very cool manner:

As you probably know, Deathstroke has since established himself as the main rival of the Teen Titans, one of DC’s most famous and popular superhero groups. His fights against them have been epic and we are certain that more epic clashes are on the way; this story certainly implies that. How?

Well, after approaching the Clock King, Deathstroke offers him a partnership. It is now obvious that Deathstroke wants to form his own team of villains, whose main goal would be to defeat the Teen Titans once and for all. This is certainly interesting and we are looking forward to seeing the next chapter in this intriguing story arc.
