Demon Slayer: New Episode Order Revealed for Entertainment District Arc
Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba started a new arc with episode 8 after the events in Mugen Train and the Flame Hashira losing his life to a demon. There is no rest for young demon slayers as Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu were recruited by the Sound Hashira, Tengen Uzui, to infiltrate the Yoshiwara red-light district and find his wives. Uzui’s wives are scouting the district with the suspicion that Yoshiwara and the city lights hide demons.
Anime fans were disappointed to see Akaza running at the end of the Mugen Train arc after he killed the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku, and could be once again disappointed to learn that the Entertainment District arc won’t stick around for long. According to the episode list, there should be a total of 18 episodes of Demon Slayer season 2, while the new arc started with a double-feature episode 8 that was almost an hour long.
Demon Slayer season 1 had a total of 26 episodes, while users expected to see another batch of 26 for season two, especially due to the fact that the second season features two major arcs, Mugen Train that has been covered in the Demon Slayer movie, and Entertainment District arc. We are currently on episode 12, which is the 5th episode into the new arc, which means that there are not many episodes left until the season finale. That means that we can expect more action and even more tension.
To emphasize the tension and the stakes involved, we can’t miss mentioning Daki, the new villain in the second part of the season. Daki’s powers can match Akaza’s strength and demon level, and if a demon like Akaza defeated a Hashira, what chance does Tanjiro stand against Daki?
The next episode in the Entertainment District arc is episode 6, or episode 13 for the entire season, and should be aired on Crunchyroll and Funimation on January 9th, 2022. Zenitsu’s location and status still remain unknown, and Tengen Uzui is rushing to aid Tanjiro as he is facing by far the strongest opponent he had a chance to meet.
