Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba is thriving with the second season, especially since the beginning of the Entertainment District arc and the arrival of Tengen Uzui, the Sound Hashira, and the self-proclaimed God of Flashiness. The series is recording record views, which is no wonder given the fact that the battle scenes are exceptional along with some burning questions finally being answered.
The second season introduced us to a new supervillain, Upper Six demon, Daki, one of Muzan’s pets with seven Hashira on her kill list. Aside from killing seven Hashira, Daki’s interest is now set on the Sound Hashira as she senses him approaching the battlefield. In the meantime, as the fandom is enjoying the first 6 episodes of the Entertainment District arc, and with the 7th airing on January 16th, Demon Slayer is preparing more announcements for the series’ fans.
The official Demon Slayer website recently announced preparing some big news for Demon Slayer fans in a special event that was confirmed for January 18th, 2022 in one of the recent news posts. The special event will be hosted by broadcaster Abema, inviting fans from around the globe. According to the website, two special events will be announced, and that is due to happen in 2022.
The special event will host Tanjiro’s voice actor, Natsuki Hanae and will see a recap of all the events that took place in the second season by far. Episode 7 Entertainment District arc will air two days before the special event takes place. The announced event will start at 8 pm in Japan, on January 18th. In case you still didn’t see season 2, you better catch up before the special event as there will be a lot of spoilers coming your way.
