Demon Slayer Season 2 Reveals Opening and Closing Theme Details

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba comeback is almost at the door. It is returning in October and will go on almost the whole winter. Until then, fans can check out the opening and closing theme for the second season of Demon Slayer.

LiSA will be in charge of opening and ending songs ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc,’ which will premiere on October 10, while Aimer will sing the opening and ending songs for ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc’, which starts in December this year.

Akeboshi” will be the opening song for ‘Mugen Train Arc’, while the ending song will be “Shirogane.” Both songs were written, composed, and arranged by Kajiura Yuki, who was also in charge of “Homura,” the theme song for ‘Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train.’

These two songs will be released as LiSA’s double A-side single on November 17. Prior to the single’s release, “Akeboshi” will be available for download from October 18.

The opening theme for the ‘Entertainment District Arc’ will be “Zankyo Sanka,” while the ending theme will be “Asa ga Kuru.” These two songs will be released as Aimer’s 20th single on January 12.

It looks like fans want to hear Aimer because this is his first time working with anime. This 31-year old singer has an extensive discography and was working in past on songs for the Fate/stay series.

If you are following the show closely, then you don’t need an introduction to LiSA. She worked on the original songs for the first season and “Gurenge” became a worldwide hit. Japan’s Hot 100 ranked the song number two, and it was played during the 2020 Tokyo Olympic closing ceremony. “Gurenge” also sold more than a million copies since it debuted in 2019.

If you can’t wait for Demon Slayer season 2, check out the best anime like Demon Slayer and have fun while waiting.
