Doctor Strange 2 Producer Confirms A Heartbreaking Rumor About Rachel McAdams’ Character

There are a lot of rumors when it comes to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. With all those rumors, some of them have to be true. Unfortunately, this is now confirmed for one heartbreaking rumor about Rachel McAdams’ character, Christine Palmer.

Christine Palmer appeared in the trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in a wedding dress. But, as a lot of fans expected, and Marvel Studios producer now confirmed, she is not getting married to Doctor Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch).

Here is what he had to say about the topic in the latest issue of D23 Magazine (via The Direct).

“They are not back together, unfortunately… as we saw at the end of Doctor Strange, he chose to stay in the Sanctum, meaning he can’t entertain his selfish desires. He would’ve loved to stay with Christine at the end of that movie, but he did the hard thing. He said, ‘No. I’m going to be a Super Hero and defend our reality. I have to move on. Our movie shows him dealing with the decisions he’s made. He might regret how things ended with Christine; he still carries a torch for her.”

As you can see, now this rumor is confirmed and it looks like Christine Palmer has moved on since the first Doctor Strange movie.

We will probably find out that Doctor Strange still has feelings for her, but we will have to wait to see the movie to find out more about what McAdams’ character is really doing in the movie. I don’t believe for a second that the only reason she is in the movie is to show that she has moved on.

It would be interesting to know, which other rumors are really true, and which are just people’s big imaginations.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness comes in theaters on May 6th.
