Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Confirms Ultron Rumors

We have finally gotten the first official trailer for Doctor Strange 2, and just as the title of the movie says, the trailer is mad. It confirmed the return of the legendary X-Men, Professor X, but just moments before that, it also confirmed another rumor, and that is the return of Ultron, or at least Ultron Bots.

This Ultron though is completely different than the one we know from the time Avengers fought him in The Age of Ultron. This Ultron is led by some variations of the robot. In the MCU we know, Ultron was created by Tony Stark and brought down by Avengers and Vision.

Ultron from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness looks much more like the Ultron we had a chance to see in Marvel’s animated TV show, What If…?. That Ultron was made by combining different heroes and villains from all over the Multiverse.

Check out Ultron’s return in Doctor Strange 2 somewhere around the 1:50 mark:

Here is the official synopsis for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Is Tom Cruise Playing Iron Man in Doctor Strange 2?

“The door of the multiverse, full of mystery and madness, opens. Now that Iron Man and Captain America have left after a fierce battle in Avengers: Endgame, former genius surgeon and the strongest magician of them all, Doctor Strange, is expected to play an active role as a central figure in the Avengers. However, using his magic to manipulate time and space at will with a forbidden spell that is considered the most dangerous has opened the door to a mysterious madness called ‘the Multiverse.’

To restore a world where everything is changing, Strange seeks help from his ally Wong, the Sorcerer Supreme, and the Avengers’ most powerful Scarlet Witch, Wanda. But a terrible threat looms over humanity and the entire universe that no longer can be done by their power alone. Even more surprising, the greatest threat in the universe looks exactly like Doctor Strange…”

Doctor Strange is coming to cinemas on May 6.
