Exciting New Covers for DSTLRY’s ‘BLASFAMOUS’ #1 Revealed!

Ever excitedly awaited a new comic release? Then you’ll understand my joy upon hearing about the BLASFAMOUS #1 comic’s new variant covers. DSTLRY, the powerhouse behind this release, just pulled back the curtain on these amazing new covers. And believe me, they’re a sight to behold!

So, what’s the big deal about BLASFAMOUS #1? This music industry horror-comedy series, penned by the incredible Mirka Andolfo, is set to launch this December. If Mirka’s name rings a bell, it’s because she’s the genius behind hits like “Sweet Paprika,” “Unnatural,” and “Mercy”.

Now, let’s talk covers. While Mirka provides the open-order A and B covers, four renowned artists have lent their talents to the variants. If you’ve been in the comic world, you’d recognize these names:

  • Junko Mizuno graces us with Cover D, a 1:25 Incentive Variant.
  • Stjepan Sejic is behind the art of Cover C, a 1:10 Incentive Variant.
  • Tula Lotay has designed Cover E, known as the 1:50 The Devil’s Cut Incentive Variant.
  • Last but not least, Stanley “Artgerm” Lau has done the Open Order Variant, Cover F.

The story? Well, it’s an intriguing one. Picture a world where pop stars are practically deities. In this unique setting, BLASFAMOUS explores the worth of a soul in terms of fans. Clelia, the top pop icon, faces challenges from a captivating newcomer. As Clelia grapples with this shift, her demonic agent, Father Lev, dives into the mystery. Their mission? Keeping Clelia’s fame intact.

How Much Are Comic Book Writers and Artists Paid in 2023?

Wondering where to grab a copy? BLASFAMOUS #1 will be available on December 20 at local comic shops and on dstlry.co. Retailers can currently order from Lunar Distribution till November 5 and Diamond Comic Distributors until November 6.

So, for comic enthusiasts and novices alike, this is one release you shouldn’t miss. I, for one, can’t wait to have it in my collection!
