As we have said on more than one occasion, the future of the MCU is finally intriguing once again after the confirmation of Robert Downey Jr.’s return to the franchise. The fans can’t wait to see what will happen to these tales, characters, and films, and while it is unclear how Marvel will make all the connections now that the MCU has taken a hugely multiversal turn, and whether they will be able to craft a compelling tale for the future, the fans are definitely looking forward to it.

The two upcoming Avengers movies – Avengers: Doomsday, hitting theaters in 2026, and Avengers: Secret Wars, scheduled to appear in 2027 – are going to be multiversal, and knowing the comic book storylines, the fans can expect utter chaos, especially since new characters will be introduced to the franchise very soon.

The Fantastic Four are set to appear in their solo movie where Galactus will also debut, and talks about Tom Hardy’s Venom crossing over into the MCU once again, alongside Knull, are as intense as ever. In light of that, we have an interesting fan theory for you that connects all of these dots.
