Square Enix’s ‘Final Fantasy 7 Remake’ might soon be available on more platforms. A leaker named NateTheHate suggests that the game could come to Xbox Series X|S and the rumored Nintendo Switch 2 later this year. This information isn’t official yet, so we should wait for confirmation.

Previously, ‘Final Fantasy 7 Remake’ was exclusive to PlayStation. Typically, such exclusivity lasts about a year. Since the game launched five years ago, it’s possible that the exclusivity period has ended. This change could allow more players to experience the game on different consoles.

Producer Yoshinori Kitase mentioned that he wants to bring ‘Final Fantasy’ games to as many players as possible. This aligns with the idea of releasing ‘Final Fantasy 7 Remake’ on additional platforms. Director Naoki Hamaguchi also expressed a desire to reach a wider audience.
