The second season of Go! Go! Loser Ranger! is officially set to premiere on April 13. The announcement came through the anime’s official social media account alongside a new visual (see below). The image shows characters standing together in a classroom, hinting at some intriguing new developments.

The anime will air in Japan on Sundays at 11:30 p.m. JST in the ‘Agaru Anime’ programming block, broadcasting on CBC/TBS and 28 other networks. Disney+ will stream the series worldwide, and while there’s no specific mention of Hulu, Disney+ titles often show up there in the U.S.

Key staff from the first season are returning for season two. Keiichi Satō, known for Tiger & Bunny, continues as director, working with Yostar Pictures. Keiichirō Ōchi, recognized for writing projects like The Quintessential Quintuplets and Adachi and Shimamura, is back on series composition.

Kahoko Koseki will handle character designs, Kenji Hayama will oversee the animation, and Yoshihiro Ike will compose the music.

The anime’s first season aired in April 2024 and was widely available on Disney+ (and Hulu for North America). Yostar Pictures, which has worked on titles like Arknights: Prelude to Dawn and Azur Lane Queen’s Orders, produced the animation for both seasons.

The manga by Negi Haruba, known for The Quintessential Quintuplets, began serialization in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in February 2021. It has grown in popularity, even inspiring a stage play performed in Tokyo last September.

With its return just around the corner, it seems Go! Go! Loser Ranger! is ready to continue its exciting story and charm viewers worldwide.
