Goku vs. Chika: Who Would Win in a Fight?

Goku vs Chika: Who Would Win in a Fight?

Over the years, we on Fiction Horizon have made numerous interesting comparisons. The sheer number of characters that we’ve done from various media and fictional universes is amazing, and while we’ve done some obvious ones as well, most of them were truly epic and intriguing clashes. But the time has come now, and there always comes a time like that, when we just have to abandon all logic and make a comparison that makes about as much sense as pineapple on pizza, and that is a comparison between Dragon Balls Son Goku and Chika from Kaguya-sama: Love Is War. And if you thought we’d be comparing something else – no, in this article, you are going to find out who would win in a fight between Goku and Chika.

Goku wins this one. There is really nothing to tell here. Goku is one of the strongest fictional characters ever created, while Chika is a regular girl with no special skills. Fans usually comment on her “motivation,” and her “paper fan”, but that’s… a gimmick from the series that has nothing to do with anything that actually makes any sense whatsoever. So no, Chika does not stand a chance against Goku in any situation imaginable.

Unlike our usual structure, we won’t actually be doing a category-by-category analysis of the two characters as we don’t really have anything particular to say about Chika’s powers for a proper analysis, as Chika actually has no powers to analyze. This is why we will simply present their known powers and abilities to you here and then explain our above-given answer so that you can understand completely why it is like it is.

Son Goku is one of the strongest fictional characters ever created

Son Goku is the main protagonist of the manga Dragon Ball, and their animated adaptations, Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z / Dragon Ball Kai, then Dragon Ball Super, as well as the alternative animated sequel to the first two series, Dragon Ball GT. An orphan exiled from the defunct planet Vegeta, he lands on Earth, where he grows up with his adoptive grandfather. His adventure begins when he meets Bulma, a young adventurer, who invites him to look for the Dragon Balls.

As the series went on, Son Goku became into a true Saiyan god in terms of pure power. Unlike some other superheroes, he lacks superpowers, but he may use his physical attributes and fighting techniques to give the impression that he does.

He is a continually changing character who improves his abilities and potential after every significant obstacle, growing stronger with each battle. In that respect, his potential is essentially limitless, and it is reasonable to infer that his potential is, in fact, limitless, even though there is no concrete evidence to support this. Well, we don’t exactly know how fast Goku is when it comes to speed.

He’s fast; we know that. He can move really quickly and has excellent reflexes. But precisely how quick is he? We have no idea. We just know he is incredibly fast.

Dragon Ball: How Strong Is Goku at Full Power?

Let’s say we refer to Dragon Ball Super, where Goku’s abilities have grown to almost insane proportions, and contrast his speed with the Dragon Ball Z characters’ average speeds. If so, it stands to reason that he has evolved into the series’ quickest character. The unfortunate fact is that we have no evidence at all for this, which takes us to the aforementioned verifiability problem. One of those unproven (or perhaps unprovable) hypotheses that you are free to interpret.

Son Goku is an excellent fighter who never tires and improves in stamina with each bout. Son Goku is a trained martial artist, making him naturally adept at hand-to-hand combat. Rather than relying on his strength and powers, Son Goku instead employs his talents and complex fighting techniques.

Another unproven claim that is susceptible to interpretation is that due to his Saiyan frame, he can fight for an exceptionally long time—so long that it is questionable whether he ever tires. After every battle, he also grows and extends, enhancing his durability.

He is not immortal, though, which we felt was important to point out at this time. Finally, we want to reaffirm that Goku has no known vulnerabilities in the traditional sense.

Chika is… a girl. That’s it.

Chika Fujiwara is the student council secretary at Shuchiin Academy. She is a very cheerful and friendly girl with fair skin, shoulder-length silver hair (pink in the anime adaptation), large breasts, and blue eyes; she wears a black bow in her bangs. She seems clueless about the romantic scheme between Kaguya and Miyuki, but she has been friends with Kaguya since middle school.

She comes from a politically notable family: her great-grandfather was a prime minister, her uncle was a government official, and her mother was a diplomat. She is the second of three sisters in her family. Her father is quite strict, preventing her from reading erotic material such as shojo manga or playing video games. She also has a dog named Pesu.

Chika’s hobbies include German strategy board games, puzzles, and “subculture” (unconventional) activities. At school, she is a member of the traditional games club, which plays board games, and she is also talented in music. She won piano competitions when she was younger and leads the class song. There are several stories where Chika has intensively coached and coached Miyuki in skills the latter lacks, such as playing volleyball, singing, overcoming the fear of blood and guts, and traditional dancing.

After each session, she vows not to teach him anymore but succumbs to her pleas for a trusted friend or the only one she can help. Ai Hayasaka considers her a formidable rival due to her unpredictable behavior. Academically she ranks in the middle of her class; Her grades have dropped due to all the time she spends dealing with Miyuki and Kaguya.

As for her skills and abilities… well… she has none, really. She is a regular schoolgirl in a world that has no superpowers and is quite realistic. The fact that she can smack someone with a paper fan is comical but does not speak about the character’s powers in any way imaginable. A lot of fans cite her “motivation” as something that can surpass anything, but that’s about the same as Dom’s “family” – it is a load of c**p. Sure, it might be funny to use this as an argument, but this doesn’t really hold any value, which is why we cannot say anything about Chika in this aspect.

We don’t really know why someone would think that these two would clash in any universe…

And that’s about it? This is a complete mismatch, as Chika has no powers so we cannot even discuss her fighting Goku. There’s nothing she could do to him, really. But, the good thing for her here is that Goku would, being the good guy he is, not even fight her, so she could smack him around with her fan as long as she wants, but she couldn’t defeat him, no.
