Hulk’s Son Skaar in She-Hulk: Spaceship Image Possibly Revealed
The next in the docket of the MCU is She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, which will introduce She-Hulk as one of the major characters that Marvel Studios could bank on in the future. However, as the series is nearing its release, information regarding the series is actually surfacing. In that regard, there is a good chance that a character named Skaar is going to make an appearance n the series. So, who is Skaar, and will he appear in She-Hulk?
In the comics, Skaar is Hulk’s son with Caiera the Oldstrong of Sakaar. There hasn’t been anything confirmed by Marvel Studios, but there are rumors that point to the possibility of him appearing in She-Hulk. And it could be possible that he was conceived when Hulk was lost in Sakaar after Avengers: Age of Ultron.
We learned in Thor: Ragnarök that the Hulk was lost on a planet called Sakaar and was the champion of the arena there. During the two years that he was there, he might have had a relationship with someone that eventually bore Skaar. Nevertheless, we are still yet to see whether or not Skaar will be in She-Hulk, but there is a good chance that she will indeed be in the series.
Who Is Skaar?
The entire world of Marvel Comics is huge because the different main characters are often involved in storylines that include side characters as well. In that regard, this was where She-Hulk or Jennifer Walters came in as Bruce Banner’s cousin, who ended up becoming She-Hulk after getting a blood transfusion from her cousin. Of course, while she used to be just a Hulk side-character, She-Hulk became so popular that she eventually became her own character that worked solo or with groups like the Avengers and the Fantastic Four.
Of course, there are other characters that eventually became a part of the entire Hulk storyline in the comics, especially when it comes to their relationship with the Hulk himself. This is where the character named Skaar comes in as one of the people that actually have bloodline ties with Bruce Banner and the Hulk. So, who is Skaar?
Skaar was the offspring of the union between the Hulk and Caiera the Oldstrong when the Hulk was on a planet called Sakaar. The boy never met his mother while she was still alive because he was born from a cocoon after the death of Caiera. However, because of the fact that his physiology is different, he was able to grow into an adult in only one year.
As Skaar grew in power, he was able to become strong enough to take over the entire planet of Sakaar and become its leader. He was also able to acquire the Old Power, which is cosmic in nature and was powerful enough to destroy an entire planet. When Skaar planned on killing a lot of people on the planet due to the visions he had of the evil deeds that some of the people did, his mother’s spirit visited him and tried to convince him to change his ways.
However, Skaar never changed his ways, and that was when Caiera the Oldstrong decided to denounce him and send him through a wormhole to exile him from the planet. He was exiled to Earth, where he became an enemy of the Fantastic Four, which now had She-Hulk on its roster.
After his defeat, Skaar went through a period where he doubted the things that he did back when he was in Sakaar, as he eventually transitioned into more of an anti-hero type of character that even worked under his father and even under Steve Rogers.
Is Skaar Going To Be In She-Hulk?
At this point, we don’t know a lot of things about She-Hulk except for the fact that it is going to be more of a legal comedy show rather than the usual Marvel Studios series that we’ve seen in the past. And that means that the story will focus on Jennifer Walters’s life as a lawyer and as She-Hulk.
Aside from a potential appearance by the Skrulls (which might set up the Secret Invasion series in the future), we don’t know a lot of things about the series but what we do know is that Bruce Banner is going to be in the series as the intelligent version of the Hulk so that he could act as a mentor to his cousin.
We also know that the Abomination will return in this series as Tim Roth is set to reprise his role for the first time since the 2008 Hulk movie when it was still Edward Norton playing the role of Bruce Banner. As such, we have three different Hulk characters appearing in the She-Hulk series. But there is a possibility that a fourth Hulk character is going to make his way to She-Hulk as well.
As mentioned, Skaar is the son of Hulk in the comics, and that means that his blood relationship with the character is deeper than any other Hulk character in Marvel Studios. And there is a possibility that this character will be appearing in the upcoming She-Hulk: Attorney at Law series.
There are some rumors that suggest that Skaar will be in the She-Hulk series, and this is the best time for him to appear in the MCU because this is probably the only Hulk-related production in the Marvel Studios docket. The rumors are far from being confirmed, but there is still a possibility of him making an appearance because it adds the twist that has always been one of the staples in the MCU. And the rumors are substantiated by the fact that there is a spaceship image that seems to have come from the She-Hulk series.
Of course, having Skaar appear in She-Hulk will make things more interesting because we know for a fact that the way that the Sakaarans were portrayed in Thor: Ragnarök were different compared to the comics. And the Hulk, during his two-year stay in Sakaar, might have actually had a sexual relationship with a woman there because champions tend to attract the attention of women.
Then again, what we know is that the She-Hulk series will be more of a legal comedy than anything, and this is probably where the comedic twist that has always been present in the MCU might appear in the series. Jennifer Walters is set to work with the legal division for superpowered beings, and her status as a superpowered person fits the entire theme of her job, considering that she will become She-Hulk in the series.
In that regard, Skaar might appear in the middle of the nine-episode series as some sort of a legal issue for Bruce Banner and the Hulk, considering that we do know that the series will explore Walters and her job as a lawyer. The funny part might come in the possibility of Skaar claiming that he is the Hulk’s son, with Walters and the lawyers of Earth wondering what the legal ramifications of having a son from a different planet are. And it is possible that Skaar will arrive on Earth on that spaceship that we just talked about earlier.
Of course, introducing Skaar to the MCU will make things more interesting because we know for a fact that Marvel Studios is working on getting more young characters to join the large character roster of the MCU. Young heroes like America Chavez, Ms. Marvel, and Kate Bishop are already in the MCU, and it’s only going to be more exciting if someone like Skaar were to join the roster.
