Some of the confirmed cast members include Yūko Natsuyoshi as the protagonist Tsubaki Kunoichi, Miyari Nemoto as Sazanka, and Sayumi Suzushiro as Asagao.

In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki is about female ninjas who live in a village where they’re not allowed to come into contact with men. The female ninjas, or kunoichi, reside in remote mountains, far away from society. These unique ninjas are divided into several groups, with the Akana Clan the title for Tsubaki’s group.

Kunoichi Tsubaki’s interest in men only grows stronger despite the existing rule. The heroine can’t stop herself from fantasizing about a man she’s never met. She explains the emotions she feels like a throbbing in her chest.

Under the same title, Yamamoto’s manga was first published in 2018 in the Monthly Shonen Sunday Magazine. It currently has six volumes and has a shounen demographic.

The key visual for the upcoming anime was also released. It features the three female ninjas surrounded by a sea of red petals.
