Duonix Studios is gearing up to launch their psychological horror title ’10 Dead Doves’ on Steam this Friday, December 13th. Alongside the release, a trailer has been released to give players a glimpse of the game’s eerie atmosphere, and a demo is available for those eager to try it out.
Following a Kickstarter campaign that more than doubled their $10,000 goal, the indie developers are thrilled to share their single-player narrative with the gaming community.
Set in 2004, the story centers on Marcus Stetson, known as the ‘Most Pathetic Man on Earth,’ who sets out on the Appalachian Trail with his friend Sean to uncover the truth behind the mysterious Ant Farm legend.
As Mark and Sean journey through the wilderness, Mark begins experiencing disturbing dreams sent by a shadowy, bird-like entity called The Wren. Concurrently, birds start dying under mysterious circumstances, heightening the game’s unsettling vibe.
’10 Dead Doves’ offers a ‘Dovecraftian’ narrative paired with a nostalgic 2000s-inspired art style. Players will navigate through puzzles, delve into Appalachian secrets, and uncover the lore of the Ant Farm.
The game features multiple endings, allowing each playthrough to reveal different layers of the dark story.
With its blend of mystery, heart, and sheer terror, ’10 Dead Doves’ is shaping up to be a must-play for those seeking a deep, story-driven horror experience this December.
