Insider May Have Leaked Switch 2 Logo

Nintendo has been tight-lipped about the next version of the Switch, but leaks are giving us hints. Recently, ‘Necro’ Felipe, editor-in-chief of Universo Nintendo, shared a recreated logo for the rumored ‘Nintendo Switch 2’. He says it’s an exact match from a photo provided by a reliable source.

This suggests the new console might simply be called ‘Nintendo Switch 2’, not ‘Super Switch’ as some had hoped. The logo uses the familiar Switch font, with a ‘2’ placed above the words ‘Nintendo Switch’.

Felipe also hints that Nintendo could announce the new console this month. This aligns with Nintendo’s previous statement that they’d reveal a successor by March 2025.

In addition to the logo, other leaks have surfaced. A Reddit user named ‘NextHandheld’ claims to have seen and touched a final retail unit of the Switch 2. They shared photos of a possible new dock and controller features.

The dock appears to have the same number of ports as the original but might include new features like magnetic controllers with drift-resistant joysticks. There’s also mention of a U-shaped kickstand and increased power when docked.

These leaks, if accurate, give us a glimpse into what Nintendo might be planning. However, without official confirmation, it’s best to take this information with caution. Nintendo has a history of surprising us, and until they make an official announcement, we won’t know for sure what’s coming.

As we wait for more details, it’s clear that excitement is building for the next generation of Nintendo’s popular console. Whether it’s called the ‘Nintendo Switch 2’ or something else, gamers are eager to see what innovations Nintendo has in store.
