Even though the comment itself isn’t more than a joke, the possibility of her being tied to the show has struck a nerve for most fans. The unexpected interaction had everyone convinced that Addison Rae will really star in the final season.

Besides responding to a fan comment, saying “Babe, relax“, Addison hasn’t spoken about her auditioning. The fans don’t need to fear Addison starring in their favorite show, though. The Duffer Brothers have confirmed no new characters will be introduced for Season 5.

Who could she even be playing in Stranger Things?

For many, it’s hard to imagine where exactly would a TikTok star fit in a nostalgia-driven supernatural drama. The cast of Stranger Things features many established actors, such as Winona Ryder, David Harbour, and Brett Gelman. If the Duffer Brothers ever decided to hire Addison Rae, she would be the first influencer to star in the series.

After all, we can only speculate about her possible roles. Since the original cast consists of closely-tied childhood friends and their families, it’s obvious she would play a side character. As we’ve already said, the Duffer Brothers confirmed that the plot of the Season 5 will be a continuation of Season 4, so the final season will most definitely be focused on its main characters.

If Addison ever auditioned and got the role, she would most likely play a side character. Possibly a character similar to Angela.
