Is Chris Hemsworth in Netflix’s Interceptor? (& Who Is He Playing?)
Netflix’s Interceptor has just been released on the streaming platforms and the subscribers can enjoy this action movie directed by Matthew Reilly. Whether you’ll like it or not is up to you, but in this article, we are not going to talk about the quality of the movie. Rather, we’ll be answering one burning question about the movie’s cast that has been bothering fans since the movie’s release. You thought you saw Chris Hemsworth, Marvel’s Thor, in the movie? We are going to tell you whether he actually appears in Interceptor or not.
Chris Hemsworth does, indeed, appear in a cameo role in Netflix’s Interceptor. He has a very small and completely irrelevant role as a TV salesman in Los Angeles; he can be seen as the villains who make their threat to destroy the city, trying to sell a big-screen television to some customers. The reasons behind this cameo appearance are not known, but it probably has to do with the fact that his wife is starring in the movie.
The rest of this article is going to focus on both Chris Hemsworth, as we are going to tell you who he is, and his role in Interceptor. You’re going to find out all the details about his role, as well as the character’s importance for the Interceptor miniseries. Be careful, though, as we are going to reveal some spoilers in the upcoming paragraphs.
Is Chris Hemsworth in Interceptor and who is he playing?
If you’ve seen the movie Interceptor, Netflix’s newest action film, and read some of the buzz on the Internet, you’re also probably wondering whether Chris Hemsworth, Marvel’s Thor, appeared in the movie. You know he’s not playing one of the major roles, and if you’re not attentive enough, his possible cameo appearance might have escaped you. Luckily for you, we at Fiction Horizon have seen the movie for you and we have all the answers you need.
As you can see from the image above, Chris Hemsworth does indeed appear in Interceptor. He is relatively well-masked, but his appearance was long-enough for us to notice it; it wasn’t even a brief and barely noticeable cameo appearance. Chris Hemsworth plays an unnamed TV salesman working for Buy-Fi Electronics and we see him trying to sell a big-screen TV to some unsuspecting costumers, as the villains usurp the screen and threaten Los Angeles.
Chris Hemsworth, of course, doesn’t understand what is going on so he keeps wondering why he could not sell the TV. His character was pretty irrelevant for the whole movie, but it was humorous enough for us to talk about it. Since we don’t have much to say about the character, we’ll just go over Hemsworth’s career in short.
