Is She-Hulk Canceled, or Did Disney Renew the Show for Season 2?

Season 1 of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has just been concluded in what was arguably the most fourth-wall-breaking episode we have ever seen on television. Of course, Jen’s story is far from over because season 1 was merely the introduction to the popular She-Hulk character that comic book fans have always loved. There is also the fact that season 2 may have already been hinted at in the season finale. So, is She-Hulk canceled, or did Disney renew the show for season 2?

It is likely that there will be a second season of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. That’s because Jen Walters told K.E.V.I.N that she had a few ideas regarding season 2, to which the A.I. quickly cut her off. In that regard, the series may have hinted that season 2 is happening, although there’s no official word yet.

Season 1 of She-Hulk made it clear that Jen Walters’s story is just getting started. That’s because the season didn’t allow us to see a clear enemy that the character had to face, as it was more of an introduction season that allowed us to get to know her more while she was managing her double life. So, with that said, let’s look at the possibility of a second season for She-Hulk.

Will There Be A She-Hulk Season 2?

Marvel Studios’ first-ever legal comedy has just concluded its first season, as She-Hulk: Attorney at Law season 1 is already in the books with what was an episode wherein Jen Walters once again controlled her own narrative instead of allowing other people to dictate what she needed to do with her life. And this has always been a theme with her ever since the series began.

Season 1 of She-Hulk allowed us to see how Jen turned into a Hulk and how she was able to manage her double life as a lawyer and as She-Hulk, who became the newest sensation in the media due to how public she is. In that regard, a good part of the series also allowed us to see how the media kept controlling the narrative behind Jen’s life as a lawyer and as a Hulk. And one of the themes of the series was her learning how to live her new life while controlling the narrative behind it.

In that regard, the finale of season 1 was all about Jen controlling the narrative once again after she lost her life due to Intelligencia’s personal attacks on her character. She decided to find a way to get back at Intelligencia legally so that she could get her life back. And when she found out more about them, that was when things started to spiral out of control.

Todd Phelps, the leader of Intelligencia, revealed that he got a sample of her blood. Meanwhile, Blonsky turned into Abomination, and sweet cousin Bruce Banner came in to save the day. In that regard, Jen felt that the ending wasn’t all about her and did not fit her story at all. And that was when she shattered the fourth wall to get to Knowledge Enhanced Visual Interconnectivity Nexus or K.E.V.I.N over at the Marvel Studios office so that she could demand a change in her ending.

Jen lawyered her way to get the ending she wanted but tried to bargain more. She sat on the floor and started asking questions regarding the different characters of the MCU and even said that she had ideas for season 2.

In that regard, that was the hint that people were waiting for regarding the chances that there will be a second season of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. The fact that Jen was already prepared to suggest a flow to season 2 meant that the people over at Marvel Studios already had ideas regarding the second season.

However, the thing is that season 2 is yet to be confirmed by the ultra-secretive Marvel Studios. Still, the fact that we were given a hint was all that we needed in the season finale of She-Hulk, as the likelihood of a second season was already teased by the fourth-wall-breaking character herself.

What Can We Expect From She-Hulk Season 2?

At this point, we don’t know what to expect from She-Hulk season 2 yet because there are still a lot of things that we can expect from the MCU as a whole. Like all of the other new characters introduced in their own series, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was meant to be an introduction to Jen’s character and how she would fit into the entire Hulk family of movies and series moving forward. Of course, because we are getting a Fantastic Four movie in the future, there is also a chance that She-Hulk will eventually join them somewhere down the road as well.

But all we know is that, as mentioned by Jen in the interview with the reporter at the end of the season, she was now planning to fight for what’s right both as a lawyer and as a superhero. We are yet to see her as a superhero because season 1 was all about her trying to manage her career as a lawyer while learning to accept the fact that she was now a Hulk.

That means that there is a good chance that season 2 or whatever is next in store for Jen will allow us to see her learning how to be a superhero or probably as a member of the Avengers or the Fantastic Four. After all, it takes more than just having superpowers to become a superhero, as Jen would have to learn how to use her powers effectively against any kind of threat if she wants to learn how to serve justice both as a lawyer and as a superhuman.

Whatever is next in store for Jen, the only thing that we know is that she won’t be getting a movie anytime soon, as K.E.V.I.N itself confirmed when She-Hulk thought that she would be getting her own movie.
