Jonas Brothers Will Star in Christmas Comedy Movie for Disney+

The Jonas Brothers are making a comeback to Disney, teaming up for a holiday comedy set to debut during the 2025 holiday season. Titled Jonas Brothers Christmas Movie (working title), the film features Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas as they navigate a wild journey. The story follows their chaotic attempt to get from London to New York in time to celebrate Christmas with their families.
Oscar-winning director Jessica Yu, known for projects like Quiz Lady and This Is Us, will lead the film. The script is penned by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, the team behind hits like Love, Simon and This Is Us.
The Jonas Brothers are not just acting—they’re also producing the movie, alongside Adam Fishbach, Spencer Berman, and Scott Morgan. Adding to the excitement, Grammy nominee Justin Tranter will serve as the music producer, creating original songs for the film.
The trio has a long history with Disney. Back in the day, they starred in the hit TV movie ‘Camp Rock’ and its sequel, along with their own Disney Channel show, ‘Jonas.’ Their music career also flourished under Hollywood Records, a Disney-owned label, where they released multiple albums.
Although the band split in 2013, they reunited six years later and shot to the top with ‘Sucker,’ their first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 single. They’ve been thriving ever since, including the release of their 2023 album, ‘The Album.’
This upcoming movie promises nostalgia for longtime Jonas Brothers fans and plenty of holiday fun. Disney and the Jonas Brothers are bringing back that magic, just in time for Christmas.
