Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie premiered on December 24th as scheduled with 15,000 people seeing the movie already on its first screening at midnight. Sunghoo Park, the movie’s director previously hinted that there will be added scenes that will particularly thrill the manga readers. The Japanese fans who attended the premiere of the movie were also thrilled with another surprise.
The first movie-goers were gifted Jujutsu Kaisen 0.5 booklet with 9 pages of original drawings and an extra story penned by Akutami Gege. The booklet also includes rejected drawings and storyboards, as well as Q and A with mangaka. The 9-page story was published prior to the release of the movie to promote Jujutsu Kaisen 0. The booklet was especially created for the first 5 million fans in Japan who bought the tickets to see the movie.
Nanami fans will be delighted with some of the most intense and action-packed fight scenes, while the movie is featuring a great number of fights with students and other characters like Kyoto members, Mei Mei, Ino and Kusakabe. Kusakabe might not have a major role in the Jujutsu Kaisen movie, however, this Grade-1 sorcerer who teaches second-year students at Tokyo Jujutsu High should have a more important part in the upcoming season 2.
Season 2 has not been officially confirmed or renewed but the fans are hoping that the second season will revolve around Shibuya arc. Shinichiro Miki voiced Kusukabe, best known for his roles as Roy Mustang in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Kisuke Urahara in Bleach, Sir Nighteye in My Hero Academia, and Knov in Hunter x Hunter.
The second season is yet to be confirmed, but it is more likely that it will happen given the popularity of the franchise.
