Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie is only a couple of days away from its Japan premiere. The premiere for the first Jujutsu Kaisen movie ever has been long confirmed and fans in Japan will have the opportunity to be the first to watch Jujutsu Kaisen 0 on December 24th, 2021. As the fandom is waiting for the movie, Jump Festa 2022 saw a release of a new trailer showing all the major fights in the movie.
The fandom is teased with the latest trailer showing the new protagonist that manga fans already had a chance to meet – Yuuta Okkotsu. Okkotsu is a young man troubled by the unsettled spirit of his best friend who died in an accident. The fans will also have a chance to see Gojo Satoru on the big screen in the new title.
In the meanwhile, Jujutsu Kaisen has become so popular within a relatively short time that the popular anime and manga are getting a theatre adaptation. The theatre show will be premiered exclusively in Tokyo and Osaka in April July and August 2022.
Getting back to the movie and its long-anticipated release that was announced back at the end of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime season one. The movie is directed by Sunghoo Park and judging by the action-packed trailer, the fandom is in for a true Shonen delight and a brand-new story arc to explore.
The movie will be distributed across 418 theatres in Japan, starting from December 24th. Fans in other parts of the world will need to wait for the release of Jujutsu Kaisen 0, which will probably take place sometime in 2022.
