Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Reveals Shinichiro Miki as Atsuya Kusakabe
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie premiered as scheduled on December 24th, 2021 to the delight of Japanese fans who will be able to watch the movie across 418 theatres, including theatres in Tokyo. The fans were surprised with Jujutsu Kaisen 0.5 booklet with unpublished pages and scenes from the prequel. However, there were more surprises to come during the screening of the movie.
The team behind Jujutsu Kaisen 0 added a brief scene with Atsuya Kusakabe, even though that scene doesn’t exist in the original manga. The fans believe that this detail is due to hint the upcoming arc that could be followed in the second season of the series that is likely to happen with the rising popularity of the anime show and manga.
Atsuya Kusakabe was voiced by the famous Shinichiro Miki to the delight of Japanese fans. Shinichiro Miki is known for his roles in Perfect Blue, Demon Slayer, Gintama, a couple of movies in the Pokemon franchise, Dorohedoro, One Punch Man, and numerous anime classics and popular series.
Atsuya Kusabuke might not have more screentime in the movie, but it certainly plays a major role in the Shibuya arc that should be the main theme of the next season based on the manga chapters. Atsuya Kusabuke is a Grade-1 sorcerer and a teacher to the second-grade students at Tokyo Jujutsu High. He is only a supporting character but could be one of the top characters by the popularity in the upcoming Shibuya arc.
