Loki Season 2 is Likely to Begin Filming This Summer

Loki Season 2 Probably Starting Filming This Summer

It looks like work on the second season of Disney+ TV show Loki will start this summer and we just can’t wait!

It was reported last year by The Cosmic Circus, that the second season of Loki will start preparing in February, and that filming will be starting in June this year. It seems now that their report is being confirmed.

According to a listing from a casting agency (Backstage), Loki season 2 should start filming at Pinewood Studios’ London in the summer. It looks like Loki will be the next Marvel project to film because it currently looks like Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is currently finishing principal photography and the same is with Disney+’s Secret Invasion TV show.

Production on Echo and Marvel’s Werewolf by Night Halloween Special should also begin soon after.

We don’t know almost anything about Loki season 2, except that Tom Hiddleston and Sophia di Martino will return in their previously played MCU roles.

With the summer filming, and if there are no major delays, we can expect to see Loki season 2 somewhere at the beginning of 2023.

Here’s what Tom Hiddleston had to say about season 1 and his hopings for season 2.

“I am so grateful that we got to do Season 1, I still am not quite able to process that we get to have another go at this. I am so excited by the possibilities. We are already in discussions. Deep, deep, deep discussions. I can’t wait to get started. I want to say thank you to the audience because without the audience, we wouldn’t be able to make a Season 2 … I hope Season 1 was full of surprises. And I think Season 2 will be full of even more.”
