Marvel Fans Keep Forgetting that Mephisto Has Been Part of the MCU for 12 Years, Appearing in One Old MCU Movie!

Agatha All Along, premiered on Disney+ on September 18, 2024, with two episodes; and while the series had a rough start, it is slowly gaining viewership as both the fan and critic reactions improved.

Agatha All Along won’t go down as the MCU’s best TV show, but it is definitely an interesting watch, and we’re quite excited about what is to come. As we’ve said, we’re going to see some relevant MCU characters in the series, but one character – a villain – is on the top of the fans’ lists, as they’ve been wanting to see him for years.

Of course, we are talking about Mephisto, who has been namedropped in Agatha All Along, which has fans excited that the villain might actually make an appearance later in the series. But, fans keep forgetting that Mephisto has already been mentioned in the MCU, as you are going to see below.

These tweets and images actually confirm that Mephisto was mentioned in the MCU 12 years ago in The Avengers, where his name is mentioned in a document related to the Tesseract.

Of course, this was not a proper appearance and the fans actually want to see Mephisto in person, but this is confirmation that the character has been part of the MCU for more than a decade now.
