Marvel has released the first look at the movie The Eternals
For years, the first weekend in May was reserved for a major film superhero achievement, and while cinemas aren’t quite ready for that yet, Marvel Studios has decided to mark the occasion nonetheless. In the so-called sizzle reel that revealed several new release dates and even titles for upcoming films, the studio has released the first video footage from the film The Eternals directed by Chloé Zhao (Nomadland). You shouldn’t have too high expectations from the amount of content shown, but the hype is certainly present because these are the first shots from the highly anticipated Marvel title.
The most striking moment of the footage from Eternals (except for the broad perspective that revealed several new heroes in their outfits) is actually the one with Angelina Jolie swinging a giant lightsaber.
It is interesting that according to Kevin Feige, Sersi is the central character of the film. If I had to single out one character who carries the plot it was Sersi played by Gemma Chan. The role of the girl in trouble haunted Sersi through many mythical incarnations. What is she? Still don’t get it? Try saying her name out loud. Like many Eternals, Sersi should be a real version of a god-like character running through human mythology – in this case, Kirk.
Although we still know almost nothing more about The Eternals than before, this video at least revealed to us that the Black Panther sequel will be titled Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, while the second Captain Marvel sequel will be titled The Marvels. The dates of Marvel movies as they come are as follows:
Black Widow: July 9, 2021
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings: September 3, 2021
Eternals: November 5, 2021
Spider-Man: No Way Home: December 17, 2021
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness: March 25, 2022

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever: July 8, 2022
The Marvels: November 11, 2022
