Marvel Studios Reveals ‘Fantastic Four’s’ Cast and Release Date

Exciting news from Marvel Studios as they reveal the cast for the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot. The iconic superhero team will see Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, also known as Mr. Fantastic. Vanessa Kirby will bring to life Sue Storm, the Invisible Woman. The role of Johnny Storm, or the Human Torch, goes to Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach will portray Ben Grimm, better known as the Thing.

This reboot is stirring quite a buzz, especially with the announcement of a new release date. Fans can mark their calendars for July 25, 2025, when the Fantastic Four will make their grand entrance. This shift means Thunderbolts will now premiere earlier, on May 2, 2025.

The story of the Fantastic Four is a classic one. They’re astronauts turned superheroes after a cosmic ray exposure in space. Reed Richards can stretch his body incredibly, while Sue Storm, his partner, can turn invisible and create forcefields. Her brother Johnny can engulf himself in flames and fly, and Reed’s friend Ben turns into a rock-like creature with immense strength.

The casting choices are intriguing. Pedro Pascal, known for his dynamic roles, will tackle Reed Richards. Vanessa Kirby, celebrated for her performance in The Crown, is set to play Sue Storm. Joseph Quinn, who captured hearts in Stranger Things, takes on Johnny Storm. Ebon Moss-Bachrach, recently acclaimed for his role in The Bear, will be Ben Grimm.

Directing the reboot is Matt Shakman, with a screenplay by Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan, and Ian Springer. Filming is expected to start by summer, adding to the anticipation.

This reboot is a big deal for Marvel, especially after the previous attempts by 20th Century Fox didn’t quite hit the mark. With Disney’s acquisition of Fox, the Fantastic Four are finally joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, promising a fresh start for these beloved characters.
