An anime adaptation was announced in July 2022. The series was produced by A-1 Pictures, directed by Tomoya Tanaka, scripted by Yōsuke Kuroda, features character designs by Hisashi Toshima, and a soundtrack by Masaru Yokoyama. Mash Burnedead lives in a magical world where their power and skill with magic define an individual’s position within society. But he is a young man without any magical abilities. In order to live a peaceful life with his adoptive father, Regro, Mash must become a Shinkakusha, a title bestowed only on outstanding students at Easton Magic Academy. Despite having no magical talent at all, Mash goes to magic school determined to survive and show the world that brawn can defeat magic.

- Reiji Kawashima (Fushi in To Your Eternity) as Finn Ames, Mash’s dorm roommate. He is the straight man (tsukkomi) of their antics and Mash’s first friend.
- Kaito Ishikawa (Tenya Iida in My Hero Academia) as Lance Crown, a good-looking young man who ranked first among the transfer exam students. He has considerable magical power, and is top of the class in academic performance.
- Takuya Eguchi (Loid Forger in SPY x FAMILY) as Dot Barrett, an impulsive and noisy young man. He’s the unpopular type with a strong hatred for good-looking guys.
