As MCU continues to grow, the interest of Hollywood talents from the A list is becoming increasingly apparent. From big-name actors signing contracts for multiple films to top talent appearing as one and the main antagonist, the magnetism of the Marvel Studios project is very real.

Matt Damon has joined the already complex cast of Thor: Love and Thunder. According to numerous Australian news, the Oscar winner landed a private jet in Sydney, Australia yesterday to begin his mandatory pre-production quarantine.

By the way, Damon is no stranger to the Marvel Universe, and especially the Thor franchise. Prior to that, he had a cameo in Thor: Ragnarok as an actor who played Loki in a stage play in Asgard at the beginning of that film.

Matt Damon is currently working on four movies, including the historical drama The Last Duel, where he will be acting as Knight Jean de Carrouges. Next is the drama/thriller movie Stillwater, where he is a father that wants to help his daughter, who has been charged with murder. In No Sudden Move, Damon will act as one of the criminals working under mysterious circumstances and have to solve the real mystery around them. And finally, we have Thor: Love and Thunder, in for now unconfirmed role.

He has joined an amazing cast of Thor: Love and Thunder led by Chris Hemsworth, including Natalie Portman, Chris Pratt, Tessa Thompson, and Jaimie Alexander. Christian Bale is the new big bad, as he will be playing an extremely powerful villain called Gorr the God Butcher.

Thor: Love and Thunder hopefully arrives in the theaters on May 6, 2022.
